My first experience with burnout was in 2010. Two years into my career as a therapist, I was working 10-12 hour days with a hefty caseload and expected to the work of 2 full-time employees. I did the best I could but at some point, I hit a wall. I burned out. A trip to the emergency room, several tests, and months of not feeling like myself and then it dawned on me.
THE ONLY WAY THINGS WOULD CHANGE WAS IF I TOOK CHARGE OF MY LIFE.
So I started making simple changes and committed to putting myself first. I wanted to have a full cup, not from desperation but as a necessity. I created a plan for my life that helped me to heal, recover, and take better care of myself. Fast forward to 2016 when I went through a breakup and a medical crisis. knew something had to change. I revisited how I was caring for myself and took small steps each day to begin healing my mind and body.
My mission is to make self-care feel less overwhelming by creating simple practices that support your wellness. That’s why I created this course, Get Real About Self-Care. This live course will help you learn strategies to revise your self-care routine, shift the emotional connection between your daily responsibilities and create a sense of calm in your daily life. This course allows you to welcome in support to your daily life while evaluating the ways you can show yourself more love and care. Weekly sessions will be taught live via Zoom.

What to Expect
This course will guide you through ways to level up your self-care. This is not about doing away with your current routine but to review the routine and make adjustments accordingly.
Over five modules we’ll walk through the following topics:
Week 1: The foundations of self-care
Week 2: Wellness Assessment
Week 3: Self-love & Self-Compassion
Week 4: Shift your self-talk
Week 5: Reclaim your schedule
Week 6: Support, community, and shared healing
Things to know:
This program will be taught live each week for six (6) weeks. Each session will be 75- minutes and will include teaching, sharing, and group support.
This program includes weekly group coaching calls and (1) one 60-minute individual session with Krystal.
You will receive worksheets and access to the Slack group to communicate in between sessions.
Sessions will start September 16th-October 21st.
